Question: Gordon & Jr.... a team!!!??? They're going to be tough to beat??!!!!?

They need to work together. If they stay out front the whole race they'll stay out of a wreck. Jr has been needing someone to work with. Jr's problem in the last 3 years is he hasn't wanted to work with anybody. Jr has always wanted to move around and shake things up until the end. I think Jr should hang on to Gordon's bumper and pass him on the last lap.

NOPE ain't going to happen. I hate to break it to you, but at this point, they would hang each other out to dry. Gordon has already done it to JR. this year. The stakes are very high and you will see a lot of messing over going on in a lot of teams. Jimmie may help Jr, but the only teammates that I trust to really help each other and keep cool heads are the 99,16,and 17. If able, I think the 6 and 26 will help them,too. One of those 3 will win, because they can keep their cool and settle for 2nd, if they have to. Sometimes if you try to pass at the end with no help, you get shuffled towards the back, so it pays to stick with your drafting partner.
Others who will be for their own gain and will hose anybody this week are The Gibb's teammates Tony, Kyle B, and Denny. Don't get me wrong. I like and cheer for Jr and Tony, but the stakes are higher than they have been in a long time.

That "strategy" will be out the window in the last 2 laps.

They can say all they want that they'll be working together, but when push comes to shove, especially at this point in the season, it's every man for himself.

I think junior and gordon will make good drafting partners, they both know their way around. Also, junior and gordon were never really big rivals-- it was senior and gordon that were rivals. junior fans just hate gordon.
