Answer #1:
I don'tAnswer #2:
A suckers game. I have lost so much money on horses ever since I was 14yrs old. I couldn't even begin to tell you how much. Forget the Pundits/tipsters they don't even know. The Jockey is the only one who has any kind of inkling of the horses chances and that's not even a help to the Punter, because there are so much bent Jockeys nowadays.. Look I could go on!! Just keep your money in your pocket because no matter how much you win, you will eventually give it back no matter what.Answer #3:
I enjoy gambling but I have never see it as a major source of income. Instead I see it as a fun and sometimes profitable way to spend my money. For example, if I go on a full on night out on the beers I can almost certainly guarantee that I will come out a ton down and a hangover up.A night down the casino on the other hand with a budget of £100 at most will lose me £100 but I may lose slightly less or come away with more money than I started with. I will also not have a hangover. The point though is this. Even though I know the odds are rigged against me in the casino I see it as a fun way to spend my money without the risks to my health that drinking can pose. So long as I enter the casino with a budget and stick to it I can limit my potential losses to something I can afford.
One thing I find very useful is to keep a record of exactly what you win or lose when gambling, be it poker, horses or roulette. You can use this record to identify what sort of gambling you are good at and what you should avoid. If you are interested in profitable gambling it is certainly a good place to start and it has helped me gain a greater understanding of the chances involved and the knowledge required to successfully gamble.
Answer #4:
well, you can lay horses in jump racing, although it is a shame as laying horses is causing all the inside Information Business, so i don't really like it but...if you want cash try firstly laying a horse a day, in jump racing and pick an outsider which is carry allot of weight (probably one of the top 3 heaviest horses) look at there form and if they have been placed then look them up on www.racingpost.co.uk (search horse) by entering there name, find the race/es where they have been successful in, most importantly see what weight they were carrying (if they had areasonablee amount then don't lay it), what the ground was, just go in detail. to be honest laying jumpers os pretty bloody easy, just pick anything with a bit of weight and no form!hope this is helpful, good luck
Answer #5:
I can't see any fun in laying horses or greyhounds to lose just backing no hopers all day long is incredibly boring. Like Roulette putting money on the red or the black to win.Why don't you try to find out why you had no success backing horses, is it because you chose them from the newspaper tipsters or racing sites on line. Try going to a race meeting nearest to you if you haven't done already and take a look at where you are putting your money.
When I go racing I have a 50 per cent better strike rate to pick a winner, and especially at this time of year with flat racers as a lot of them have gone in their coats or have had a hard season, many other factors.
Don't be mug and get drawn into Casino betting on line its the downward spiral to ruin.
Go racing at least you'll get some fresh air and a run for your money...on line your money becomes virtual and will disappear into cyberspace before you know it...Jac x

I think you have sort of got your best advice in your question "times are hard" and "trying to make a bit of extra cash"Don't think you will do that with racing either backing to win or lose.
Concentrate on a part time job to bring in extra money - you will be far better off.
