Question: I don't like competition? Why something wrong with me?

That's called ''maturing''. Only kids like competitions like that, college is a lot different from competition.

College is much less competitive than high school. It is about you as an individual. I think it is fine to dislike competition.

There is nothing wrong with not liking competition. As far as applying for college, some people may look at it as competition but really all you're doing is competing with yourself - either you have what it takes to get in or you don't, as long as you do your best that's all that matters! Once in college, the learning environment is much different from high school - it's really all about you because you don't 'compete' against anyone, all you're trying to do is fulfill your degree requirements for yourself.
