Velvet Deck is NOT a Sports Betting site. You don't actually wager money. People make pretend wagers, but you can't win any money. You can compete for prizes apparently, but I imagine it is near impossible to win anything and you'll probably be advertised to death.

Lame, but a better alternative than betting money on sports I guess.

Actually it looks like www.velvetdeck.com does pay out real money. Not exactly gambling, it is more like ESPN's streak for the cash but very cool site nonetheless. I especially like the Model Contest...those babes are smoking hot!!! Thanks for bringing this site to my attention.
