Question #1:
Is being vegan healthy?
I want to be more healthy because I play sports and want to get in shape. I just recently became a vegetarian but want to be a vegan. I was a vegan for a week on a bet (which I won) and I wanted to become a full time vegan. I've heard people say it's unhealthy and people say being vegan is healthy. So I don't know who is right.Question #2:
Why are Pakistanis blaming the whole Spot fixing thing on RAW(India's intelligence agency) and Indian Bookies?
Ok ,I accept that Indian bookies may be involved but does that really puts the blame on India , in fact India also suffers because of corruption.cricket is a big sport in India,so betting is bound to happen.Just as it happens in Rugby ,Soccer , tennis etc wherever they are popular. Why Pakistanis give this ludicrous excuse?
Don't the Pakistani players hold any responsibility ?
If a criminal who belongs to India ,offers a Pakistani some money to kill someone,And if that pakistani gets caught ,Will you guys say that the pakistani is innocent and not as much guilty as that criminal.
Similarly If an Indian criminal gives a pakistani player some money to kill the integrity of a sport, Should all the blame be put on India?
Isn't it same as contract killing?
Isn't the person who murders someone as much guilty as the person giving him money to do so?
And remember it was Delhi police and Indian Media which exposed the Betting scandal of 2000.It didn't take any foreign help to expose the Whole ***king thing.
Which makes it clear that India wanted to separate themselves from the criminals ,unlike Pakistan which frequently sweep the things under carpet.
And why Blame it on India ,criminals have no nationality and they don't represent any nation
Just like the Terr0rists represent no religion as you guys always say.
@Pak arab- the blame should not be put on India ,it should be put on criminals, which exist in every country, the reason most of the bookies are from India is because that;s where they have the biggest market and they also use the money to harm India. And I am sure British media have not blamed the country India.Pakistan's Newspaper 'Daily mail' has blamed RAW .Your link asks me to sign in.I don't have any account there and don't want to make one
@Nadeem -Should I believe people who say that your religion and nation is losing Image because of its terr0rists ?
No i won't believe them,because its a generalization.
@ Shaheed ughal- Answer the question prperly I am not saying that players are guilty or not, I am asking if you guys are proven guilty will you not blame your own countrymen?
@pakarab-By punishing the players(if guilty) , Pakistan will to make a statement that the players no more represent Pakistani way of thinking, that's why you have punishments.
Typo:if your guys

I feel cricket as a sport has been killed of ,due to this betting scandal i mean televised, sponsorships, commercially and attendances by paying spectators. will this be the end of this colonial sport ?Question #5:
Any comments on - Australian sport, betting has become the heart and sould - Sydney Moning Herald.?
Eight years after disgraced South African captain Hansie Cronje plummeted to his tragic death, cricket's corruption is about as well concealed as Merv Hughes's moustache.According to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald, in Australian sport, betting has become the heart and soul.
It is almost impossible to watch or listen to sport on a commercial network without being bombarded with betting information.
Rather than trusting their own judgment about games, media pundits - this one included - lean heavily on the accessible and often sponsored odds-makers' assessments. Increasingly, punting is the lingua franca of Australian sport.
It could be argued that sport is entitled to grab its piece of the gambling pie.
Sports betting in Australia has exploded.
In May, analysts IBISWorld told the Herald Australians would gamble 2.9 billion dollars on sport in 2009-10 compared with 1.6 billion dollars in 2004-05, with an annual growth of 12 per cent for gambling on sport far more than for the pokies (1.2 per cent) and horse racing (0.5 per cent).
Figures such as these are typically used to demonstrate the potential growth of problem gambling. Equally, they show why a potential cheat might think he can prosper.
Australian sports bodies reason that it is better to keep the money changers - and, as a pleasant consequence, their money - inside the temple; that by signing deals with corporate bookmakers who in turn grant access to gambling records, they are better placed to monitor players and officials
Correction: Australian sport, betting has become the heart and soul. Typographical error regretted.
Question #6:
Is this a solution to the problem?
Betting in cricket and other sports should be legalised in India, a Delhi court has said, pointing out that the police have failed to curb illegal betting in the country. Legalising betting, the court said, would help the government keep track of the transfer of funds and even use the revenue generated for public welfare."It does not need divine eyes to see that 'satta' in cricket and other games is reaching an alarming situation. The extent of money that it generated is diverted to clandestine and sinister objectives like drug trafficking and terrorist activities," additional sessions judge Dharmesh Sharma, of a Delhi trial court. "It is high time that our legislature seriously considers legalising the entire system of betting online or otherwise so that enough revenues can be generated to fund various infrastructural requirements for the common man and thus check the lucrative business in organised crime."
The judge cited a media report that claimed more than Rs. 20,000 crores (approximately US$427 million) were pumped in by illegal betting syndicates during the IPL last year.

Would playing with PLAY chips on Pokerstars be considered "gambling"?
I started playing poker since I was about 5 or 6 years old. I love the game, but over the past six to seven years , I've slowly Acquired a gambling addiction. I lost all my money, a few times , and began to have friends worry about me. The past year I've finally admitted to myself that I was addicted and been working to quit poker ( the only form of gambling I do besides betting with friends ). I've quit fantasy football, side bets , sports bets completely, but can not give up poker. I tried giving it up cold turkey and DID NOT work. Over the past two months I've gone from playing stakes as high as $ 20,000 .. down to $ 1 stakes of buyins . ... I made it a week without a single hand of poker, but could not continue . I started up again on poker stars, but this time playing with PLAY money. ... Like I said before, I grew up with the game and just have a passion for it , .... I dont think I'll ever be able to give it up completely. ..... Is playing for play money though, still considered gambling ? ... since I'm not risking any of my own money. .... Just playing it for entertainment and a hobby .I'm asking for opinions about this ... anyone who has ever gone through this painful addiction , what did you do to quit ? ... Or couldnt 'you quit ? ... I have NOT gone to seek "professional "help yet ( gamblers annonymous ) , but would like to do this on my own.
Please, if you have any advice or experiences with this painful addiction , PLEASE let me know. ... I feel I've done a good job recovering , but can not put that final " nail in the coffin "if you know what I mean.
Thanks!

Question #13:
How to get rich fast off sports betting? (Part 2)?
I am the same person who asked this before. I received good answers. Here is my counter to them. Background:
I usually hit 70% regularly, and 90% on my locks. If we are given these, can I make a million in 1-2 years, and if so, how?
The answers I received talked about online books cutting off my action if I'm a consistent winner. Okay fine. Here are 2 counter plans, tell me if they will work and help me make a million in 1-2 years with hit rates like that...
1. Bet with multiple books, and also bet with a betting exchange like MATCHBOOK. I heard Matchbook doesn't care how well you do in your bets since they don't make money off how bad or good you do. So if I do great there, am I on my way to a million?
2. Only bet LOCKs. I hit 90% there. If I bet 50% of my bankroll, on each of my bets, and say I go 90% with 10-20 bets, I should be on my way to a million.
But the question is, will sportsbooks cut-off my action here as well? Because of my short-term success? Will they actually pay me the money afterwards?
Are any of these plans, 1 or 2, good? What do you guys think?
Question #14:
Do I have to report my online gambling/sports-betting win to the IRS, even If i have never been employed?
I just turned 18, never been employed, I had $300 so I bought a 3 team NFL parley and it payed out big. I won $2478.3. Now here is where I got greedy I bet all my winning on craps. I picked black and I won so now I just turned $300, basically all the money I had into $4956.6 in just under a day. I guess its beginners luck. Now I have always lived with my mom and i never had a job. So What do i do with the whole IRS Business.Question #15:
Is my ex-boyfriend pretty?
Well, turns out my ex-boyfriend was cheating on me for over a year with one of my best friends. He was also spreading fictional rumors about me to everyone he knew. What do you guys think of him in theis photo? This is a photo I took of him when he lost a bet and had to let me give him a makeover for a day. He complained a lot but was actually a pretty good sport about it. I'm surprised he let me do this considering that he's one of the most sexist and homophobic people I know. Who would have thought he could be so pretty? lol
I had him pose for it lmao
I figured this was perfect revenge since he's always been really defensive about his masculinity. He freaks out if anyone ever calls him by a girl's name or treats him like a girl. I think he sees women as inferior playthings that he can talk down to.
Oh, and I'm also going to email him the link to this question so he can see that his pictures are being seen in public. Sorry Ryan, hope you have fun reading these answers ;)
If I posted it on facebook, do you think people would know he lost a bet or would they think he was an actual crossdresser? To be honest, I think he's a better girl than he is a guy lol
Question #16:
Is it possible to get rich fast off sports betting?
By fast I mean, 1-2 years, million dollars. Is it possible to make that kind of money doing sports betting?
Can you do such a feat on those online sports betting sites? Will they pay that amount?
Or do you need to go Las Vegas or work with a bookie?
But can this be done assuming you hit, 70% of your bets or so? I'm not asking how difficult it is to hit 70%, I'm asking if you hit 70%, can this be done? Or do you need to do better than that?
Or not even that 70% deal, just getting on a lucky run for a short period of time, is it possible to make a million?
Background Info: Casual (spends 15min/day) sports Bettor
But the question is just is it possible not is it likely.....
Though I do hit around 70% in my bets.
And can someone explain HOW it is possible to do so? Like using some of the things I've sad.

Question #19:
Help! I'm starting to feel really jealous of my friend!?
So my best friend and I have known each other for 10 years. I'm always feeling so jealous of her! She's taller than me (all my friends are and they always point out that they are). She's really skinny and has big boobs and is really pretty! She can wear bikini's and look good in them and I can't because I hate my body. In school she is always getting the better grade. I study just as hard maybe ever more and I can't do as well. Teachers love her too. I started getting into alternative music and then she is already in to it. Whenever we both get into the same music she always goes out and buys new cd's and all that and I cant afford too and sometimes it just makes me a little angry because it'll be something I had showed her and then she'll be like "hey you should check out..."Sports and being really athletic was the one thing I had and now she's playing field hockey and she's always talking about it and how the sport gets no attention and all that. I was going to play but equipment is just so expensive...
Her parents also give her nearly everything she wants and gives into her all the time.
How can I stop feeling so jealous? I feel bad Ive know her for so long and were great friends but sometimes I just feel so jealous! I know I bet I sound like a jerk but I dont even know why Im feeling like this... :/
Her mom doesnt ork and she sees her parents a lot and both my parents work full time and my dad works full time and I just get so jealous of that.. :(
Question #20:
How can I tell my parents to kindly shove something up their...(kinda long)?
... I bet most of you know what I mean. =\School is almost starting, which also means sports teams. I've been in track, volleyball, tennis, and soccer throughout my middle school time up to today. I'm going to be a sophomore this year.
However, my parents are NUTS!
They sign my physicals and forms every year, but they completely talk down to me! It's like I come home from a meet, they automatically go, "Did your team lose?" I go no, and they just make a face and say, "Too bad." And when I do say yes, they go, "See? You're wasting your time on a worthless group."
The heck?
And almost every week, they just snub me with, "Why are you even bothering with all of this? Why can't you just stay home and study. Our friends' kids got 4.0's and you don't..." And just totally praise my brother with his activities and his not "perfect" gpa... Sometimes, I just think they're so sexist...
My team has an average of a 3.5 gpa. I currently have a 3.8. If I want to get into a good college, I just can't rely by staying home all the time. I tell them that and they just yell at me for talking back. I even got athlete of the year AND Science Department of the year at my school... I almost cried when they embarrassed me by saying I could have done better.
What can I do to get them off my case? Just UGH. >=(
